Bale Requirements

Gilmac offer hay bales in a range of sizes to accommodate customer requirements.

Container Packing Styles

Gilmac offer three (3) alternative packing styles for containerised shipments.

1. Strap-pack : Bales are unitised into packs of 12 or 16 regular bales with packs held together by 3 polyester straps. The packs are loaded into the shipping container 2 packs high, with a 12 bale pack as the base and a 16 bale pack loaded on top.

2. Stretch-Wrapped : Bales are unitised into packs of 12 or 16 regular bales with packs held together by P.P. film. The packs are loaded into the shipping container 2 packs high, with a 12 bale pack as the base and a 16 bale pack loaded on top.

3. Pull-pack : A pull-strap (made from webbed belting and a buckle) is placed around the bottom 2 strap or wrap packs. Using the loops on either side of the container, 4 packs can be pulled out of the container at once.
