Casual / Seasonal Crop Inspector, St Arnaud Victoria

We have a current vacancy for an ongoing casual Crop Inspector at our new St Arnaud site in Mid West Victoria.

To be considered for this role you will require the following:

  • Willing to commit to working between April and December on an annual basis
  • Willing to work flexible days/hours according to seasonal requirements
  • Must have own reliable transport – 4WD or ute required (Vehicle allowance paid)
  • Be willing to work individually and within a team environment
  • Attention to detail, and accuracy with written and verbal skills
  • Be able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug screen

Knowledge within the Agricultural field is advantageous, as is a solid understanding of cereal crop growth stages and weed management practices. However, the successful applicant will be provided with full training. Your role will focus on assisting our team both within field sampling and product quality identification.

Production Manager, Goornong Victoria

Gilmac Goornong is looking for a highly motivated and effective leader that is looking to develop and grow their career as a Production Manager with our Company.

Reporting directly to the Goornong Site Manager this is a significant leadership role and is crucial for the ongoing success of this site.

  • Principle responsibilities and accountabilities include:

  • Asset Management (i.e. buildings, machinery, equipment, infrastructure and inventory).
  • Supplier and contractor management.
  • Employee relations (including recruiting, training, team building, administration and work rosters).
  • Receivables, Production, Dispatch and Shipping Logistics.
  • Experience and knowledge of the Agricultural industry will be highly regarded but a proactive, innovative attitude is a must!
